Guest guest
Does anyone know where I can buy one so I can put my HC info on it? Thanks!

I will have to add in the Fludrocortisone by the looks of things and I am seeing my GP this morning and keeping my fingers crossed he is going to be happy to prescribe it for me. There is no way I want to go through typical NHS so called tests! Pam
Guest guest
Hi Pam, I got folic acid prescribed last year even though my blood tests came back saying the serum level was within range (but low) ~ short-term memeory was going down the tubes at the time and the effect of supple'mentation' was quite remarkable. The cost of folic acid is trivial, pence per week. I've been put on it and kept on it at minimal cost and I doubt I'll give it up, in view of my experience of its highly beneficial effects. I'm 65yrs of age and rising ....... I've also been taking a basic B- vit (brewer's yeast) with top ups of the various B vits as necessary without getting too far out of balalnce as between all of the Bs (hopefully). Having had to use an intuitive approach to get this far, with minimal testing, I know from what you've said, that lack of testing can be fraught with hazards, made worse if the GPs can't interpret them, or have no compassion that their lack of knowledge is hampering the patient's wellness. Many have the human failing of ~ refusal to delegate and distrust their patients, having labelled them as heart-sink, and unable/unwilling to fathom what is actually wrong. I imagine you won't get problems having a prescription that will cost pence per week ....... (as with L-thyroxine) ....the problem, is with the more expensive drugs. best wishes Bob > > > > http://www.icegems.co.uk/925-sterling-silver-medical-id-bracelet- 5- > p.asp I find these good as the tags are part of the bracelet rather > than hanging below it & getting in the way. > > vAL > > > This is what I wear all the time, never take it off.
