Guest guest
Hi , my daughter and niece have the same problem. Went to 2 different docs and they both said SALT. My daughters heart would race and my neice has fainted. It has been 5 yrs now and they are both fine . I rarely had used salt in foods and I never gave her chips or salty stuff. She now eats all the salt she wants and the docs told them to carry salt in a baggy in case. I thought it was crazy, but when my sister told me her doc said the same thing....guess they were right. By the way, the docs were 2 top cardiologists. Kiki
Guest guest
Hi Kiki, Wow, amazing that your daughter and niece have the same condition. I had never heard of this before. Isn't this group a wealth of information!!My daughter's heart will face also, trying to get the blood quickly to her head before she faints. So your cardiologist didn't put either of them on atenalol or some other beta blocker? My daughter's doc said the same about salt, but maybe she didn't take/use enough. They also told her to drink lots of water to increase her blood volume. Isn't that (salt & water) a recipe for water retention/bloating and weight gain?As a teenager, she would be unhappy with that. When they carried salt around with them in a baggy, did they just eat it straight out of the bag? yuck. My daughter loves claussen kosher dill pickles. She should probably carry those around... they are SALTY!! So the DLphenylalanine is a waste? Salt is definately cheaper. Thanks again Kiki. -------Original Message------- From: low dose naltrexone Date: Friday, November 05, 2004 08:23:11 low dose naltrexone Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] for DL Phenylalanine(off topic) Help Hi , my daughter and niece have the same problem.
