Hello

Just a positive message to report that with my additional adrenal

support following Dr P's advice (and I DO hope that I don't have to

continue with ALL the supplements longer term because I do feel a bit

like a pill-pusher!) that I have indeed been eating lots of pies and

incredibly have not been gaining lots of weight!

Normally the sniff of a mince pie would have the scales asking for a

day off, but I am astonished to find that I am eating what I believe

is called a 'normal diet' with the odd treat, that I have NEVER been

able to do without consequence in my whole life!!!

Since we adopted our children life does seem to revolve around food,

and since our son has difficulties eating, then we want to set a good

example. This has sometimes involved eating..... PUDDING!

So I don't know whether this is the increased activity due to kidlets

(and they aren't as strenuous as the gym which I have given up) or

perhaps mental stress..ha ha ha, or perhaps it is just I am

functioning better, but the 5lb I lost with the winter vomiting

disease that they brought with them when they moved in... bless...

has not crept back on... yet...amazing!

Also, thankfully the most important thing is that my brain is

functioning MUCH better - not 100% - but hey! after the last few

months I would settle for 50% and I am defintley in the high 80%s!

Thanks for all your support. The one thing I regret is not having

time to read the posts nowadays but happily my time is filled with

more rewarding activity!

Love to all, Louisex

Hi Louise,

It gladdens my heart to hear you are improving on your current regime

~ adding to your children's happiness (and you & your's).

Listening and talking to other departments of government, they may

have begun to realise that there are things that can improve if they

get their facts straight, ~ first.

Not having their facts straight can and does cause disasters on a

regular basis.

Sounds like the thyroid scandal is one of them.

best wishes

Bob

the supplements 'support' the recovery phase and recent research is

pointing to the HPA axis as the main cause of mental ill-health.....

so adding in hydrocortisone will begin to repair accumulated damage.
