I just found a bottle of " iodine " at the co-op, here in town. However, the container says Potassium iodine...10773 mcg (per serving)= 3 drops Elemental Iodine...5386mcg (per serving)= 3 drops Iodine formula same as found on page 559 of The Cure For All Diseases, by Hulda Regehr ,Ph.D, N.D. " So, I really don't know if this is an acceptable form of iodine? Does anyone else know? I tried looking up info on elemental iodine, but it was all above my head. Thanks, . Guest guest
Elemental iodine is merely I2 (the 2 should be a subscript), which is 2 molecules of iodine. Lugol's solution is 5 g Iodine (I2) and 10 g potassium iodide (KI). The formula below looks like it has the same ratio, so I think it's an acceptable formula.
