Guest guest
Hello, I just wondered if anyone knew anything about this? I believe both myself and my chocolate lab have an underactive thyroid. We both got worse when we moved to a fluoridated area from a non fluoridated area though this was unbeknown to me at the time. My dog started getting cysts about 6 months after moving and my muscle pain got very bad. Recenetly I have been looking at nutrition especially iodine and goitregens. I have just realised that my dogs food contains a lot of maize which I beleive inhibits thyroid? Interestingly, UK has a problem with badgers carrying bovine TB in areas where they eat too much maize. This is giving them goitres and causing them to have weak immune systems. This is being ignored by our government and huge numbers of cattle are culled. Could it also be that the disease is being spread through badgers licking the cows mineral licks and should I give my dog lugols?!! Interesting! http://www.monetaryreform.org/2007/Badgers-TB-and-Cattle.htm
