Fish oil, Vit D, good or bad ideas?

Along the way in my search for natural solutions to my health issues,

I have come across information that seems very opposite to what is

accepted as fact. I found the first eye opening information about

fish oil, essential fatty acids, and polyunsaturated fats at Ray

Peat's website quite a few years ago. I read it and didn't really

believe it, but decided that I would keep an open mind about it. Now

it is very difficult to believe that I ever doubted that it truly is

saturated fats that humans are meant to ingest.

The next eye opener is the information that I found at the Marshall

Protocol Study site. There you can find a lot of information about

why Vit D supplements are not good for you. You can read about it in

a very simplified and clarified form at www.bacteriality.com. The

most important article to be read there is the article about Vitamin

D. Scroll down the list of articles on the right hand side of the

page to find 14 reasons why not to take Vitamin D, if you are

interested.

When I compute the information from the two sites mentioned above, I

wonder why anyone would want to take fish oil, Vitamin D supplements,

DHA, EPA, etc. If you want to get a dietary intake of Vitamin A & D,

a good quality butter made from milk from grass fed cows would seem

to make the most sense.

This may seem rather Bart Simpsonish, but I really do think that the

stinkiness of fish oil proves that it's not good for you!!*

*Only kidding, of course.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
