Guest guest
I am in Tennessee. A friend recommended this group to me because I am on a quest to find health. I am grossly overweight 150+ lbs. Plus I believe I have Fibro, Arthritis, mal-absorption problems, gut problems (I am working on that with naturally firmented foods), and probably other things that are not coming to my foggy brain. Yet I eat very healthy and healthier everyday. I long ago have thrown out reg. MD's because I have gotten nowhere. I have done quite a bit of studying on my own. Have even studied somewhat on Iodine. And like the lady the other day went out to buy some and found none! (thanks to the druggies of our world!) I have been on here (on the forum gleaning from all your posts!) for several weeks, reading all the posts but feeling a bit lost. I have figured out that I need iodine...I think that is a DUHHH! But I have a VERY limited budget. I don't think I can afford all the blood tests you all talk about. I have been adding kelp to everything and Real Salt. Past that what is the cheapest source of iodine? Where can I buy it? What can I do on my own with out testing to get started or should I? Is there some things I can do or watch for when I do get started? I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. I am sorry if these questions have already been answered somewhere and I have missed them...if they have if you could just direct them to me. I have not bought any books...could I get them at the library? Any information on where and how to get started would be greatly welcomed! Thank you in advance!
