Guest guest
I just posted this to another group I've joined. Russ:)) , I am new to this group. What drugs are you referring to in the message below? I am attempting to get a Rx for LDN(Low Dose Naltrexone). Have any of you other members tried this approach? There are over 1200 members in the low dose naltrexone group, many of which are MSers. Thanks,Russ Miles:)) Date: Sun, 14 Nov 2004 23:33:04 -0000 From: " " <ivydelux@h...> Subject: Re: New MS drug... HI, I just want to tell you that yes there is always hope! I went from COMPLETLEY DEPENDANT, unable to walk, had no use of either leg, in a wheel chair. to running a mini marathon in a very short time span. I thought I would have to quit my job as a lab tech. I did have to take some time off but with physical therapy, meditation, and tai chi I feel better than I ever have. Also i am sure my diet and close attention to paying attention to my what my body is telling me(ie:; not over doing it.) I am the person my husband met. I Did go through about a year of ups and downs and eventually a serious depression. mainly because I refused to accept it. Once I did things have turned around. I have not had stem cell treatment however I have had a treatment called novantrone. Initially I was very frightend because it is a form of chemotherapy. But along with the other things I have mentioned I am not only able to walk. I am able to RUN. I at one time thought this not ever again a possibilty. i was never a big runer before but I don't want to waste any chance. My Mother says use it or lose it. I really beleive that. Take care and good luck.
