Guest guest
Lugol's is great as it contains both iodine and iodide. SSKI is potassium iodide only. My Dr. (Dr. Brownstein) has not seen as many positive results with it as he has using Lugol's liquid or Iodoral. SSKI is by prescription only. Is SSKI and Lugol the same thing Hello Everyone,I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy I found you, I have been reading and researching about Iodine for several months on the curezone Iodine forum. I started taking Lugol and feel GREAT. I'm on 75mg a day.I have seen people talking about SSKI "Saturated solution of potassium iodide" on curezone and some folks over I think may sell it.Isn't that the same thing as Potassium Iodine (lugol)?Should I be taken SSKI for Thyroid and Candida instead of Lugol?I have to say Lugol has improved my Candida out breaks. I can eat sugar without a huge breakout of a rash. Although I don't push my luck and eat sugar anymore. I just thought it was awesome that Lugol has helped me with Candida.Thank you for any help you all can give me,Terry
Guest guest
Hi Steph, Unless something has recently changed, SSKI shouldn't need an rx. Dr has sold it for years at his Tacoma Clinic. I have no interest in purchasing it since I love both Lugol's/Iodoral and Magnescent, but I wonder if a google search would produce any SSKI vendors for those who want this............. Guest guest
Thank you for you response and kindness, I will stay with the Lugol and not worry about adding SSKI. Is SSKI and KI the same thing or are they different things all together? I am taking 6 drops Iodine in Morning and Evening, which makes 75 mg a day. I am doing the supplements: Magnesium, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Selenium, and a Multi Vitamin. When I feel the die off is too much I will do a Salt Flush for a couple of mornings and I feel better, however I get water retention bad. Is there anything I can take to relieve the water retention? My clothes get tight and my stomach looks like I¡¦m 4 month pregnant. Not good for a 49 year old womanƒº, I want to look younger but not pregnant.
