Guest guest
Hello All, I found out yesterday that the local BBC TV news crew were hoping to come and film me today regarding LDN and the charity. They came at 10am and left just after 12 noon, it will go on air in about 2/3 weeks. It has to be edited and they want comments from other people and this can take time. I have my local news paper doing a follow up report and I'm working on getting other people interviewed that want to help with getting LDN into clinical trials. If anyone is still thinking about helping out with press coverage that live in the UK please email me, to make a strong case we need as many people as possible. We now have the challenge of raising £35,000. This is what Dr Lawrence estimates is the cost of the first proposal that he and Dr Coles have decided on, for a one year toxicity trial involving 20 people. Full details will be posted later. Dr Lawrence would like to start this first trial in the spring next year if possible but it depends if we manage to raise the £35,000. Now we have the registered charity number we will be able to start applying for funding. If anyone can help in any way to help us achieve the £35,000 target we would be very grateful, all amounts however small add up, again we really do need as much help as possible if we want to get clinical trials started in the spring. Many funding bodies only meet annually and we have missed several deadlines for the first few months of next year. Best Wishes,
