Oh, Hanna, you are so sweet! Hee, hee, I haven't even thought about horoscopes since I used to do them for people in the '70's - I am a Libra with Leo rising and Leo in a lot of my houses - probably what gives me my "roar"?

Hope you are feeling well, honey.

Love,

Marilyn

Marilyn, I must pay you a Complement. You are a very outspoken person and it seens to me you could confront ANY situation . A lot like me. Are you a Gemmmini? , a Virgo? Anyway I admire you from what I read of you letters. You dont need to worry about this hep-c getting you, cause I think your probley to damn tough to let it take any control . Love you, Hanna

Hey Marilyn,

A lot of people really don't know how they got hvc. There were millions of people who went to give blood on Sept 11th and found they had hcv. You are very lucky that your children do not have it.

It is very rare that they will get it. My son got it from me. When he was born or being born they stuck him in the head to check for oxygen levels, his blood therefore mixed with mine. I only those doctors would have known. He wouldn't have it today. It is very sad because he is 11 now and may have to start treatment when he is 13. I just really hate it when people try to put us in aids bracket. When we are far from aids. It is a virus, not an autoimmuine diease.

Hope you have a great day...

Luv & light

God bless you and yours

Pamela Rae

-- Re: To Marilyn and Pam and All

Hey, Hannah - I guess how we get this really boils down to the luck of the draw. Isn't it like 1/2 of the people have no risk factors and don't know how the heck they get it? Supposedly, I contracted it at 10 or 12 years old through a blood transfusion. Thank God I didn't pass it to my children, and DH and I have been married for 23 years and he doesn't have it. Since I was just diagnosed in March, you know we didn't take precautions.

Yeah, the horoscope thing is fun, I used to do handwriting analysis, too. It's so funny how you can freak out complete strangers with it, because some things get so specific.

Great news about seeing your biological dad. My daughter in law just found her birth mom 3 months ago, too. Even though she comes from a happy family, she had pieces missing. Her mom helped her find her birth mom. It's so weird to see the pictures, DIL has dark hair and eyes, her birth mom is blonde and blue eyed, yet they look like they could be sisters (her birth mom was only 15 when she was born). Enjoy the time with your dad, mine has been gone for 6 years now, and I still miss him terribly!

Hugs,

Marilyn

Hey, I wanted to say Marilyn that I am a true Gemmini. Although, I dont REALLY get into to that stuff, sometimes it provides me with great entertainment. It can be fun, especially if your bored XXXXless. On the other subject once again, I have bought multiple books on hep-c , recieved their magazine, and I do know this viris has a small percentage of being caught sexually, but definatley can happen even in monogamous relationships, where only one partner has it. My partner and I are JUST TOGETHER, with only each other, but my first doc insisted he get tested, especially if your intimancy is ;well, excuse me, not always so gentle. We are a group who care about one another, and ANYTHING, any of can share helps. My bio dad is coming to see me this weekend, and I am so excited. I'v known him for about 3 months now. I love him and call him Daddy. It was culture shock at first, but who cares , I found him. Well, I love yall, Hanna

Pamela Rae,

I'm so sorry that your son has this awful thing, too. It's got to be very difficult for him to have this knowledge and have to be careful who he tells. You're right, people do treat it like AIDS and it's not the same. Children are especially judged because of the ignorance of others.

My prayers are with yo and your son.

Love,

Mariyn

I got my dr by calling the nearest compounding pharmacist and asking who nearby prescribes it. The dr I found is also giving phone consults for I think $150... G. Ayres, M.D.322 Burr Ridge Parkway,Burr Ridge, IL 60527630.321.9010

I use Skips pharmacy in Florida...and have them mail me 2 months at a time. Skip truly cares about ms people and gives the best prices. 3 mg is best for me.I good way to start is to get 1.5 mg tablets...then you can take 2 or 3 tablets and see what does is good for you.

Hope this helps,

Lori

I didn't have much luck with match.com. I finally signed up for a ocal

service called Compatibles. It's not an internet thing. It's an old

fashioned, face to face interview with a woman who matches people up by what

she sees, not what we thinkwe are. I found talking to her very interestng.

Three days after I met her, she sent me an email saying she'd likeme to meet

a guy named Steve, who works in finance, is 6' tall, charming, humorous,

passionate and ethical about his business, etc. I agreed to meet him, so

she sent him an email about me. He called the same evening, and said the

only thing strange was that she described my personality, but no physical

description other than " average height and weight " . I told him there must

be a reason, but he'd have to make up his own mind once we met. 1 1/2 hours

later, we were still chatting, so we agreed to meet at a local restaurant

for a late dinner. I went just as I was. Didn't bother to mess with my

hair or makeup. Something told me to not try to be anything I wasn't and if

it didn't click, then it wasn't meant to be.

So here's the thing...we had both been on Match.com on and off for years,

but never saweachother's profiles because the interests we checked excluded

each other! Until we met in person, he didn't know I own a motorcycle. He

said if he'd known, he would not have agreed to meet me because he would

have pictured the stereotype of leather, tattoos, toughgirl image. Not me

at all! Besides, he was looking for someone about 10 years younger, 4 to 6 "

shorter, and a lot tinier than me. (Can we say " Barbie Doll? " ) So, he

married me, although I am too tall, too old and too fat to fit his image.

I never would have contacted him because he is really in great shape,

athletic, handsome, and he golfs. I would have assumed he'd have nothing to

do with me (I still had the old image of me in my head.) and I don't golf,

so why wud I be impressed with a 3 handicap?

Point being, we don't see ourselves as we really are, so none of us

describes out " inner selves " correctly. Then, we have prejudices against

things like motorcycles or golf clubs or jobs or whatever,so we eliminate

people before we have a chance to meet them.

If there is any " real " dating service near you or any speed dating

opportunities, I'd go for that. The right guy is out there, even if he

isn't at all what you thought you wanted.
