Well, I have just been to see my doc (with hubby) to show her my

recent results & my BTF list of 16 symptoms and she had never seen or

heard of saliva tests or ever seen results before, left her with a

copy, she is going to chat to Endo (who I saw 4 yrs ago, he dismissed

my Candida diet as 'alternative')he reduced my Thyroxine meds then &

they've been going down ever since, cos of TSH so I made the point

that my symptoms have increased since... mentioned that T4 may be

sitting in cells but not active in tissues, she replied, because of

low cortisol?? So it seems she did get that? Also said the

anaesthetist & doc at recent surgery took note of ASI results & gave

me 4mg of Dexamethasone for recovery, she asked if I felt well with

that, I was in fact, quite lively that day, post op even though I had

had surgical removal of polyps & fibroid.... nowhere near the pain I

felt after the hysteroscopy (internal investigation) at referral appt.

I will let you know of the outcome... it's good to talk as the saying

goes... My hubby is definately coming to Endo appt with me also, my GP

says he is Thyroid & Diabetic when I queried.

She (GP) knows we can get t'ment privately but would prefer NHS if

possible.

Maybe I can relax a little now that is over.......

Regards Anne
