Guest guest
I stopped taking Copaxone. The only change it cause me was I no longer have sores all over from the needles injecting poison! ----- Original Message ----- From: lindafahrbach low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, November 24, 2004 7:31 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Stopping Copaxone I am presently taking Copaxone along with LDN. However, I'm quite certain that my grant for Copaxone will not be approved for 2005. Therefore, I will not be able to afford it. Has anyone stopped taking Copaxone while on LDN? If so, what, if anything, has happened?
Guest guest
Could someone please help me out with my question about what is recommended to use for compounding? Guest guest
There are several fillers commonly used. Skip's uses Avicel, the pharmacy I used last uses cornstarch, some use lactose. It is important that it be a fast release filler and something you are not allergic to. We've had a lot of discussions over fillers and have only decided that some people have trouble with some fillers. Avicel seemed to make me a bit nauseated and the cornstarch filler does not. (My current nausea is from an antibiotic...) But a lot of people do very well on Avicel. People who are lactose intolerant try to avoid the lactose fillers. I believe some pharmacies will even use acidopholous, kind of a bonus for your digestive tract. Best of luck, and Happy Thanksgiving! Guest guest
I did but I was doing really badly on the Copaxone anyway. I did not notice anythig different execpt that I no longer had to give myself a nedle or try and lug all the stuff around with me and I feel more " normal " as all I am doing is taking a pill everyday! But that is just how I feel and was doing poorley on the Copaxone from the start. Jen > > I am presently taking Copaxone along with LDN. Guest guest
Thanks JT. Will probably suggest either avicel or acidophilous. Appreciate your suggestions. I think I am lactose intolerent so wont go there. Kathy On 24-Nov-04, at 9:07 PM, wrote: > There are several fillers commonly used. Guest guest
Sheila, I've never been on Copaxone so I'm far from an expert. But if you're feeling better on LDN, why would you return to Copaxone, especially considering the latest research? ________________________________________________________________ Juno Gift Certificates Give the gift of Internet access this holiday season. http://www.juno.com/give
