Hi everybody

I have just spent most of the morning and lunch with a freelance journalist who has spent a long time looking through TPA-UK forum reading many of your messages and generally getting an idea of what we all have to go through under the care of NHS doctors. She had previously been through the website. She also looked at the photographs in our forum. I had 47 'stories' that some of you sent me which I sent to her last week. She had printed off every one of them and just finished reading through them all last night. To say she was dumb-struck is to put it mildly. She was amazed at the similarities of the stories and how doctors were ignoring everything if blood results were returned within the normal range.

I would love to be able to tell you what we discussed and what path the story will take, but I am not going to give anything away right now - so you will have to wait and see on this one. Neither do I know where it will be published - but be assured, when I do know I will let everybody know.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to write out your story - they are really something and I have them stored on file ready for the next journalist who comes along, but I will tell you that after the journalist read through each and everyone, the winner on this occasion is . Well done , she was very impressed with the way you had written your story and thought you had covered just about everything regarding the way the NHS treats our condition - and, of course, it has a good conclusion with your new doctor.

I will write to you privately with her contact details and you can contact her direct.

Luv - Sheila
