School districts with strong life skills program?

I received a call from a mom who's husband is taking a job with the Browns' organization. They are moving to the area from out of state. They are looking for a school district that has a strong life skills program (self care, independent living, transitional services, etc.) for their 16 year old child who has Aspergers and some developmental delays. They are leaning towards the west side but will consider all areas. Any suggestions?
