Guest guest
Hi Sheila and Everyone, If you remember I am the one who is not converting the thyroxine and my GP has sent me (after Private 24hr urine test )to get T3 from endo. Am supposed to take list of current meds but am wondering if I should keep quiet re Dr P's regime and not mention thyroid support and nutri adrenal extra either in case he will not prescribe T3 for me. GP will have had to tell him about test as NHS blood test did not show conversion problem. Luv Stephie
Guest guest
Hi Stephie In this particular case, because the Nutri Adrenal and Nutri Thyroid are supplements only, I wouldn't mention them right now. These are made up of vitamins and minerals and are natural. Neither are likely to affect your thyroid function blood test. Make sure that when you get your Free T3 tested, the doctor only writes Free T3 on the blood form, and that they do not ask for TSH and Free T4 to be done at the same time. Otherwise, the local laboratory may well refuse to test your T3.
