Guest guest Posted December 18, 2008 Report Share Posted December 18, 2008 Someone had a nodule on their thyroid and 10 years ago half the thyroid was removed together with this nodule. No medication given. This person now has a nodule on the remaining half of her thyroid and is waiting to go into hospital to have this removed together with the remaining half of her thyroid. Is this the best course of action? This person is already going into hospital to have a hysterectomy because she has precancerous polyps, and the thyroid surgery has been postponed until after this procedure.
