Guest guest
Shaye, there will be more opportunites as the years go on. I am sure that you are a great mom and by noon she will have forgotten all about it. Isn't motherhood great, but it does get much better. Have fun making soap. --- Shaye <shaye@...> wrote: > Oh boy, my daugther is mad at me.. I made her go to > school today.. The last > day and its only half a day. Guest guest
Just when you think your kids can't stand you something will happen and you'll realize they really do love & need you. My 12yr old son has never been a cuddly child. He doesn't like being hugged or kissed & I practically have to tackle him to give him a hug. This past Saturday I told him I thought he should go upstairs & clean his hamster's cage. Amazingly, he actually went right up. No sooner did he get up there than he came back downstairs and wrapped his arms around me. For a split second I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then I realized, Hammy the Hamster had passed on. She was such a cutie & his pet for about 2 years, the longest he'd ever kept a hamster. He had her trained pretty well. He didn't let go of me for the longest time. I hated that his baby was gone, but glad to know that I still had my baby! Colleen http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com

Guest guest
LOL! You just can't win with kids. PS: I don't have any! [i'm sad about that, but hey...] But my neice and nephews give me a run for my money, but I don't really mind. I give them back to their parents when I start pulling my hair out. And then it's back to sipping tea and reading a good book! Marisol in Brooklyn Shaye <shaye@...> wrote: Oh boy, my daugther is mad at me.. I made her go to school today.. Guest guest
Oh Shaye, not many people make ‘Mother of the Year’. I wouldn’t worry about it. Besides, That title means different things to different people. Kids can’t love you all the time – they have to have boundaries. Guest guest
Tomorrow is the last day of our first week!!! I plan to put in my numbers on Saturday morning. I will be gone to Columbia, Mo. to see me Endocrinologist most of the day tomorrow. And will spend my eat whatever you want meal with my daughter who lives there!!! I will have dinner with her before returning home. Usually pretty O-freindly food at her house anyway. Meat, brown rice, green veggies usually. Or something near to that.. I will splurge on some kind of dessert. Can hardly wait to see how everyone did. I'm having steak, baked sweet potato and green beans for dinner tonight. Kind of the normal O meal. LOL Have a great week-end and I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone on Saturday. -- www.bigpondaussies.com
