Guest guest
Does anybody know of any ‘compounding’ pharmacies in the UK please?.Somebodoy who has written to me needs to find a pharmacy who can make Sodium liiothyronine (T3) in a time release format. Does anybody know if there is a need for a time-released T3 even? Luv - Sheila
Guest guest
Hi Sheila, A lady (last known to be managing the Boots pharmacy in Warminster) I stayed with whilst at Uiversity was a practising pharmacist making up her own preparations in Bath (top of Milsom St). I very much doubt that pharmacy is still in operation as it was then (1970s). There may, however, still be a pharmacy in Bath that does compounding. It's long history as a Spa town ensured that variety of sources was available ....for 'Laudanum' etc. A Spa town in any locality might still have a compounding pharmacy. Cheltenham, perhaps others? best wishes Bob > > Re: UK - compounding pharmaciesDoes anybody know of any 'compounding' pharmacies in the UK please?. Guest guest
I am in the U.S. so can't help with the compounding pharmacy but I do take a time-release T3. For me this is good because I take So many other supplements that not having to remember to take the T3 throughout the day is helpful. Whether it is better, I am not sure but I am not noticing any adverse effects, except the weight gain but as we talked of previously Sheila, I will be asking for an increase in HC.
