Guest guest
Debra, It has soy milk. Soy is bad for all blood types. Even A's who it is supposed to be good for can have their systems messed up with it. I know a lady who took it completely out of her health food store when she started having some problems she attributed to soy. I think they are saying now that it messes up the immune system. Lattes Hello everyone. How many of you can handle soy lattes? I had one yesterday from Starbucks when I had to drive eight hours. Felt fine. No crashes. This morning I made one myself myself and really am suffering an energy loss today. Maybe it was the sugar in the Vanilla Latte, but I can't understand why it didn't bother me yesterday? Guest guest
I just rechecked my list and it said it was Neutral. How come it didn't bother me yesterday? Or maybe it's not even the soy? I did eat at Japanese restaurant yesterday. I got a veggie stir fry with meat. I didn't ask for no wheat in sauce, but it looked thin. It didn't look like it had thickener in it... And I was bad. Had 7 bites of coconut ice cream for dessert. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Irene de Villiers Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 4:10 PM Subject: Re: Lattes On Dec 9, 2008, at 8:40 AM, Debra wrote: > Hello everyone. Guest guest
I would vote for the icecream instead soy anytime, LOL. Dr. D mentioned some time ago that we o's don't get any benefit from consuming soy. I always had some kind of queezy feeling after eating it. Guest guest
After I posted, I Goggled wheat and ice cream. Seems wheat is common in ice cream. I didn't realize that. I wonder if the coconut ice cream had wheat in it? It seems just a little bit sets me off. I am so new to this that every day is a discovery. Wheat seems to be the most extreme though. I find the next day, after I eat something, I get tired. So I was blaming it on the Latte. I really don't like the taste of soy. I can't drink milk. I am lactose intolerant. I am not crazy over teas either. Anyone have any favorite morning drinks? _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of E.Andersen Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 4:41 PM Subject: Re: Lattes I would vote for the icecream instead soy anytime, LOL. Guest guest
Coffee is an avoid. But, I loved coffee. Milk is an avoid. I used to put the cream from the top of a gallon of raw milk in my coffee. YUM! Soy is an avoid. I never tried soy milk but soy powder never agreed with me. Black tea is an avoid. I used to L-O-V-E black tea, hot or cold. So, I had to force myself to learn to drink green tea. At first I hated it and almost had to force myself to drink it. However, over a period of time, I have learned to love green tea, iced in the summer and hot in the winter. (I think Lipton Green Tea is the best, but have had Uncle Lee's, Community and Bigelow). C'mon over, I'll put the kettle on!
