Guest guest
Hi Sheila & everyone.. I have some recent blood results - done on the 9th December and am hoping for some advice in deciphering them... TSH - 4.14 (0.25 - 5) Serum T4 - 15.6 (12 - 25) The nurse said that they didn't do T3 despite asking for it as they don't feel it is necessary although she then went on to give me a free Triiodothyronne reading of 3.8 (is this not the T3 reading?) After my stay in hospital two weeks ago I have managed to get some results over the phone - 30/11/8 TSH - 1.1 T4 - 14 - These bloods were taken during my miscarriage.. why such a drop in TSH from the last blood test when I was still pregnant and it was 7...? Neither blood tests checked for thyroid antibodies, despite telling them I had them present in my last blood test...should they still check for them or if I have had them showing up in one blood test does this mean I will always have them? I phoned back today for my blood pressure results from my stay but they have refused to give them to me (due to confidentiality - just being awkward I think)- if my memory serves me right my last reading was 90/40 - it is always very low and is often commented on by doctors - I notice from reading that this can be one of the symptoms of adrenal failure..? Thanks for anyone who can help me with these questions, x
