Sorry for any crossposts.... please read about this important appeal below and spread the word to friends, co-workers and family members so that we have many people attend! This fundraiser will raise monies to support children with autism and their families and help pay for much needed therapies. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter! Don and Pattison ------------------- February 8, 2007 Dear Friend, Every twenty minutes today there is a child diagnosed with autism in the United States and the number of those identified with the disorder continues to grow steadily. This bio-neurological developmental problem may severely impair a young child’s communication, behavior, sensory processing, cognition, socialization, sleep, digestion, and immune

function. While the quest to find the cause of autism continues, thousands of families in Northeast Ohio struggle daily with the enormous stress and expenses that caring for a child with autism poses on them. The overall lack of financial supports prompted some of these families and autism advocates to establish a non-profit support organization, the National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio (NAA-NEO) Chapter, with the goal to provide sorely needed monies to help with medical treatment costs, therapies and respite services. We are proud to inform you that we are one of the founding members of this nonprofit organization and we are thrilled to announce our first fundraising event, the Pizza Hut for Autism, which will take place on February 19 through 21, 2007, between the hours of 4:00 and 9:00 p.m. Your support is crucial for the success of this fundraiser! We

are inviting you to join us for the Pizza Hut for Autism event, which is organized in collaboration with Pizza Hut restaurants at three locations within Cuyahoga County. With your support and participation, we can raise monies simply by treating yourself to some delicious pizza at selected Pizza Hut restaurants. The more friends, colleagues, and family members you can invite to dine on the given dates, the more proceeds could be generated to support the families in need. Each customer that presents the NAA-NEO Pizza Hut for Autism flier will have 15% of their check donated to our foundation to directly benefit families affected with autism. The three locations for the fundraiser are: 14089 Pearl Rd., Strongsville (dine in and carry out) 5780 Mayfield Rd., Mayfield Heights (dine in and carry out) 22402 Lakeshore Blvd., Euclid (carry out only) Please let your children’s teachers know about this event as well as your neighbors, work place, church parishioners, friends and family so that we get as many people to attend as possible. Please find the flier for this event attached to this email. The fliers MUST be submitted at the Pizza Hut location in order for our organization to receive the donation. We are not permitted to distribute any additional fliers at the Pizza Hut sites during the fundraiser. Feel free to download the flier and make copies for distribution! If you prefer, we would be happy to supply you with additional fliers for the event should you need these provided to you. We really hope that you can to lend your support to our cause. Please feel free to call us at 216-752-5978 if you have questions or need more information. We sincerely thank you for your help and are looking forward to seeing you at Pizza

Hut! Don and Pattison National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio Chapter
