Guest guest
I wondering if anyone had information on different places that have sports, music , art or other recreations for children on the spectrum. I am not looking for therapies. I had a mother approach me and wanted to have something outside the home for her 9 year old son. Thanks, kiersten
Guest guest
My son is also 9 years old. He participates in Special Olympics roller and ice skating, also Challenger Baseball. I can provide you contact information if you would like. He really enjoys all of these activities. Gail
Guest guest
Where are you located? Potential, Inc. recently partnered with EASI Education to provide kids with opportunities to use the " Heath Board " . The Heath Board provides auditory feedback when touched and is used to encourage kids to produce their own works of art. A canvas is placed over the board and when kids paint on it, they hear sounds, words, music, or whatever has been programmed for them. Visit our website for more information www.potentialinc.org . Also, you may want to check into Special Olympics. The provide free lessons in sport for kids. The kids participating don't necessarily go to the Olympics but get the opportunity to learn a sport.
