Switching from Synthroid to Armour and/or Iodoral

Hi,

I have hypothyroidism and have been on Synthroid since about 10 years.

I suffered from a severe depression because of hypothyroidism and it

took me over a year to feel better. So, I am very convinced that I

want to get off this drug and onto a natural alternative, but I am

very scared of depression.

Also, because of that, my doctor is not supportive of my transition to

Armour or Iodoral, so I am pretty much on my own. Is this doable?

I feel very overwhelmed with all the information out there. I have

been reading the posts here since over a month and I have a hard time

understanding it all. I have read the stopthethyroidmadness.com

website too and I really fit the profile.

Is someone willing to take my hand and guide me through this? I don't

even know if I need Armour or Iodoral or both... I would need a step

by step instruction guide on how to proceed.

I live in Canada, so I don't know how much more complicated it is with

ordering Armour.
