Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I have been taking Lugol's since Sept. I just recently began putting my drops in empty veggie caps that I bought at Whole Foods Market, because I don't like the taste of iodine. Maybe that will help you? > > Could someone please help me? Guest guest
I always use a straw when I drink it. Does Lugol's stain teeth? Could someone please help me? I have checked the files and have not found the answer to my questions. Some of my friends are interested in the use of iodine, but are concerned that their teeth not turn orange or brown color. 1. Does liquid Lugol's stain the teeth? If so, how does one get rid of the stain?2. Is the use of an OTC tooth whitener safe to use once in a while for stains?3. Does long-term use of non-liquid Lugol's, such as Iodoral tabs, stain the teeth from within? (I know that CS stains a person blue from within) I already use tooth soap and know about it. I know about preoxide & baking soda - is that sufficient to maintain whiteness? Thanks very much for any experiences you'd like to share!I so appreciate this forum.Kathy Lapp in Calgary Not happy with your email address? Guest guest
I personally haven't had any staining. But if you are worried about it, try drinking your liquid containing Lugol's through a straw. Kathleen does Lugol's stain teeth? I have seen this mentioned from time to time here, but am wondering if taking Lugol's everyday has any staining effect on teeth. I am considering switching from Iodoral to Lugol's and am curious about this. Thanks, Kim
