Guest guest
I had an itch on my ankle that would not go away, and I tried all the usual things on it to try and stop it - colloidal silver, ozonated coconut oil, alcohol, etc. to no avail. I tried a 2.5% tincture of iodine on it, and lo and behold, a painful swelling started to occur. Pus started coming out of it and the shape of the fungus became partially known. At first, I thought the fungus was about the size of a quarter, then a half-dollar, then a dollar, and now the entire fungal colony that wraps around my ankle has become visible. It hurt too much to continue with the iodine, and the iodine did not relieve the pain. I applied freshly-cut aloe vera, which also hurt at first, but eventually the pain disappeared and a dry crust formed over the fungus. I am now going back to applying iodine, and will alternately use both the aloe vera and iodine tincture. It's a horrible mess to look at. I'm grateful that this fungus is not on a vital organ!
