From Wikipedia: Endocrinology is a branch of medicine dealing with

disorders of the endocrine system and its specific secretions called

hormones.

According to his pediatrician, for him to go into premature puberty

something is wrong with his hormones.

This could be nothing, or it could be a tumor in his pineal gland.

More than likely, based on what I am reading, something is wrong with

his seratonin levels. Seratonin/Melatonin levels trigger puberty.
