I's obviosly affecting the pituitary and sending out more prolactin. did you get tested for the iodine? or if you think you really need it , start with a much lower dosage and work up. also could be too much going on at once and stirring up toxicity. hth, linda rn

2nd day of Iodoral

Today is my 2nd day of 50 mg Iodoral. I should mention I also take Hydrocortisone and T3. The same thing is beginning to happen as the last time, my breasts are beginning to swell. Can anyone tell me what I can do or take to offset this problem? I feel great on Iodoral but last time my breasts got huge..........ThanksKim

Thanks for the response . I did get tested for iodine and showed

I was saturated but I did not test my bromine. Steph didn't believe I

could be saturated and recommended I do 50 mg iodoral and retest

after 3 months. I feel wonderful on iodine so I think it is doing

good in my body. I am also doing colonics at the same time trying to

get some of the metals out of my body. Steph had thought the bromine

could be causing my RT3 problems (tested very high in RT3).

My breasts swelled initially when I started on 50 mgs but they did come down. I am not sure what made them do it but they did. I loaded with salt, vit C and magnesium while supplementing. It seems that iodine increases progesterone levels. That may have something to do with it.

Thanks Steph

The raising of the progesterone makes sense. I am expecting to have

to lower my hydrocortisone because the iodine should help increase

it's level also. I will supplement with the salt, c and mag and see

if this will help me also........
