Guest guest
Dear Friend of ASO: There are two issues pending at the Federal level that affect persons with autism and their families - and we need your help! Urge your Senators to sign onto the Combating Autism Act Funding Letter Senators Dodd (D-CT) and Chuck Hagel (R-NE) are circulating a Congressional "sign-on" letter asking the Appropriations Committee to increase funding for autism related activities at the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Health Resource and Services Administration. This letter is similar to one circulated by the House Coalition for Autism Research and Education (CARE) earlier this year. ASA is urging ALL United States Senators to show their support for autism by signing this important letter.
