Guest guest
Hi, There has been some material online recently about how treating subclinical hypothyroidism may prevent the development of heart problems. See http://heartdisease.about.com/b/2008/09/25/does-subclinical- hypothyroidism-cause-diastolic-heart-failure.htm http://thyroid.about.com/od/heartdisease/a/subclinical.htm (Sorry Tinyurl isn't working at the moment so I couldn't shorten the links) Certainly all my chest pain and erratic heart rhythm has ceased since I've finally been on levothyroxine. I am hoping that this may have saved my heart. If I'd gone untreated for much longer I dread to think how much damage my heart would have sustained.
