smoothies - sort of

First I must say that most people questions the accuracy of my calling these

smoothies.

And here is, I think, the only book available with comparable drinks,

You need a good blender like a VitaMix (my favorite) or a Blendtek.

I generally use a cup of fruits and a hugh mess of greens.

Fruits:

pineapple - banana

Cherry w/ blueberry or grapes or pears

banana - pear

grapefruit (alone)

Greens: (choose 2 or 3)

Broccoli

Kale

Spinach

collards

celery

romaine

beet greens

Nuts/seeds: (2 or 3)

Walnuts

pumpkin

hemp

flax

chia

Vit C pwdr 1000 mg

These make up my basic recipe variety.

I may perk it up with ginger or cayenne or lemon oil
