Guest guest
Hi ....so, perhaps the treatment protocol really does need updating by a couple of decades, at least; ........they originally thought vit D just kept kid's legs straight, without knowing about epiphysial dysplasia, or any of the other causes of bent legs, apart from rickets. Thierry Hertoghe has already written on the 'complete' understanding of hormone uses and replacements via natural hormones, not synthetics. The inference may be that vitamin D replacement should be tried before hydrocortisone, where thyroid hormone(s) do(es)n't seem to be working well? best wishes Bob > > Hi Bob,Dawn > > This is very true, it happened to me when my thyroxine dose was cut > and my calcium levels dropped too. > > Chris
Guest guest
Hi Bob Possibly, but remember I was pre-pubertal when I started on thyroxine which may have some influence. I am taking calcium and Vit D now to boost my calcium along with the higher dose of thyroxine which I was on before when my calcium levels were fine.
