Affect of Iodine on adrenals

Hello. I'm taking Armour (2.75 grains)for hypothyroid and also have

symptoms of adrenal insufficiency. My ferritin was low (17) but with

iron has come up to 55. My nurse practitioner has recommended I have my

iodine level tested and supplement if necessary. She feels that I may

be able to stop taking Armour eventually because the iodine will

restore my thyroid function. I take nothing for the adrenals. I am

posting to ask if anyone who has taken iodine experienced improvement

in their adrenal function. Any information you can provide would be

greatly appreciated.
