melatonin lowers oestrogen

I have discovered this today in my researches so I don't have to wait

for Genova to explain the reason for saying on their website that

melatonin can adversely effect saliva tests results for sex hormones.

Also I found that a new contraceptive pill is on or about to be on the

market that contains melatonin and progestins.

The melatonin suppresses oestrogen production and this is how it works.

SO~ it now is looking likely that my through-the-roof oestrogen levels

may well have been even higher had I not been taking the melatonin!

So I will be very interested to see what the blood levels are like from

the GP.
