Guest guest
This is mainly a " bump " up for the post about hakala labs http://hakalalabs.com. I was under the impression that you had to have a doctor's order to get an iodine load test -- is this not the case at hakala labs? If you don't - that would be very good news because not everyone lives in an area that is easy accessible to an iodine-friendly doctor - although it would be desirable I think to be working with a doctor for iodine supplementation - it seems like it might be better than nothing to at least be able to get the test done to see where you are with respect to iodine supplementation. Also I would like to know know if anyone had had their testing done thouth Hakala and if you thought they were reliable. > > You can order the two tests (iodine saturation & bromide toxicity) at: > > http://hakalalabs.com/contact_us > > or order iodine at > > http://www.jcrows.com/iodine.html > > It is delivered right to your door, > although I don't know if Lugol's > works for a skin test. > Ali
