Creative Children

ANNUAL

FISHING DERBY

Goody Bags, Games and fun for all participants.

There will also be a Casting Contest with Prizes.

Drawing for door prizes.

DATE: June 9, 2007 (rain or shine)

TIME: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. (Registration at 11:30a.m.)

LOCATION: Possum Creek MetroPark Argonne Lake

4790 Frytown Road. Frytown Rd. runs between Gettysburg Rd. and

Germantown Pike.

WHO: All Area Autism and other Disability Groups as

well as their entire family. Parent participation is mandatory.

BRING: Fishing equipment, your favorite bait & if each

family could bring a snack & drink to share. Snacks and drinks are

not required to participate. We are still working on getting free

rods and reels for as many as possible if not everyone.

Representatives from the following groups will be present to assist,

have displays or do presentations: Tri-Rivers Bass Club, Ohio

Division of Wildlife, Five Rivers Metro Parks, Wings over America and

other organizations. This will be a fun day as well as a wildlife

learning event for the entire family.

NOTICE: Local news media will be at this event and will be doing

video, photos and print articles. There will be a media release form

for everyone to sign as well as standard liability release forms. If

you do not wish to be on the video, we will also have a sheet for

that and you will not be taped.

Directions: From South of Dayton Take I-75 to the Kettering/Moraine

exit. Go to first light and turn left onto Dryden Road. Go to first

light and turn left onto Main Street (Moraine). From North of Dayton

take I-75 south to the Dryden Road exit and turn left off of ramp.

Take Dryden Rd. apx. 1 ½ miles to Main Street (Moraine) (just before

the major intersection) and turn Right. From Main St. go thru Moraine

and past Splash Moraine. The road will bend to the right and become

Gettysburg. Go past warehouses on left and past first set of TV/Radio

towers and turn left on Frytown Road. Go past stop sign to the second

park entrance and follow the Kreative Kids signs to the Hickory

Shelter.
