Our son has been going to one of the best speech therapist's (by our own observation and other parents) in the Akron area since April. He's made some progress, however he will have the word of the week or month. Then lose it, never to be heard from again. He still won't put two words together, and doesn't really have alot of verbal communication. She's altered her delivery style many times, and lately the same results. Dis-interest, and almost no participation. And while he had good eye contact in the past, this last session in particular he made almost none with her. Perhaps he's gotten too comfortable with the therapist, and we need to rotate to a new one. Does any one have any thoughts on this, and or recommendations for speech therapist's. Thanks so much!
