As you may know, McCarthy has a child who was diagnosed with autism in 2005.

She is also the spokesperson for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) a wonderful,

comprehensive parents helping parents group located in Los Angeles that I am invovled in

www.tacanow.org. You might have seen posts here from Ackerman, the Executive

Director of TACA. She's truly a shaker and mover for autism.

McCarthy's child was recovered through biomedical interventions and she has

written a book called " Louder Than Words, a mother's Journey in healing autism. "

I believe 's press tour will be focused on her book and her experience with

biomedical interventions recovering her son and TACA, the group that helped her along

the journey.

A major part of 's story is about how biomedical interventions can heal our children

and how shocked she was that she wasn't told that through the mainstream.

will be speaking on Oprah, Larry King, 20/20 and several other shows this month.

September should be an interesting week for autism treatment awareness.
