Guest guest
Hi All and Sheila, Spoke to Dr P has told me to start the T3 Half a tablet per day then up that if I am ok. He says the Thyroid support is not suiting me and I probably won't suit the natural thyroid either. I have to stick to 50 mg of the levo, as he says that's all my body can cope with presently. Am on three per day of the NAX. Have been off work the last three days with a horrid sore throat and cold made me feel washed out and miserable. It's strange, there was me thinking I would need Armour to get well I suppose I was pinning all my hopes on it ( the possible weight loss was riding on it). I feel all at sea, like a ship with it's moorings cut. I have also started the serenity, it arrived Monday, Dr P said my progesterone was far to low after the test results came through. It would be great to loose the palps/sore chest once and for all! Anyone any comments/advice on taking the T3. Luv Stephie
Guest guest
>Hi Sheila, Sorry to hear you have the bug at your place too, hope you do not get it. Am taking calcium 400 mg one a day with 200mg magnesium in it. Have been for some time. Thanks for the advice on splitting the dose of T3. Dr P says to take one by tommorow if no effects on the half tablet which there has not been any. Its quite tiny to split but I managed. I will still split the one 25mg tablet tommorow. Dr P knows about the palps/pulse racing, that was when he said the thyroid support was not suiting me. I am to book a telephone appointment for two to three weeks time. Seems to be a feature of mine that my heart races when not being treated and the same when over treated. Last night although I woke up three times I did not think the heart was thumping with as much ferocity as usual so that tiny dose might be helping already. Thanks for the cheer up message Sheila it keeps me going. I know it sounds strange but it feels as though I have only just taken on board that I have an illness that is not going to go away. Even though I was completely aware of this ever since I was diagnosed in Feb 07. Been so taken up with the medication crusade I was on!!! Luv Stephie > > > > Take the T3 in two split doses.
