Guest guest
Iodine is known as anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial. But does it also kill the harmful worms and parasites? I don't think so because they are large organisms and if iodine could kill these then it would also be (able to be ) killing our healthy cells. Am I right?--------------Ratan Sinh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education.- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J. Guest guest
Ratan, You are probably right in assuming that(3% or5%)iodine might have trouble destroying amoebas and protozoans, but not necessarily because of their size. MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement), which produces chlorine dioxide gas, is able to kill 100% of the protozoa that cause malaria, yet will not harm healthy cells. Only cells with a low pH (acidic) are affected by MMS, as it oxidizes them. The same might be true for high concentrations of iodine, but no one has experimented using iodine to cure malaria, to the best of my knowledge. > > Iodine is known as anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial.
