Where to buy Cortef? How much do you take and the cost?

Hi All,

I am expecting Dr. P to tell me to take Cortef when I speak with him

next week. For two weeks now, at his suggestion, I have been taking

4 NAX and 10 NA a day in an attempt to stabilise my adrenals...but it

isn't working. I am still crashing and with the reduction in thyroid

meds I have had to make I am feeling pretty awful....I am back down

to 2 1/2 grains and feeling the effects. He hoped, though didn't

expect, the increase in NAX and NA to work. As it isn't working I

will be needing to start Cortef pretty soon. Could anyone tell me

where I might get some at a reasonable cost? I won't order till I

get the go ahead but would be grateful for any information on how,

when and how much a person would normally take, what the cost would

be and the results anyone has had.

I have been very unwell for quite a while now as many of you will

know from my sporadic postings. We have been trying to support my

adrenals for months now and I know that I need this before I can take

the thyroid meds I so blatantly need (according to Dr. P) I am, like

most of you, totally skint and really fed up...but hopefully this

will finally sort thing out for me.

I can't possibly go on taking the amount of meds I currently do... I

rattle when I walk!
