Guest guest
Hi All Ive just been back to see my GP and asked for a copy of all my results as i am going to keep a folder for future reference. He did no problem with me having a copy and I put them in my bag for safety until i got home. I'm sure he told me when I was first diagnosed last December my TSH was 11.6 however when I looked at the printout my jaw hit the ground my TSH was 75.13 (0.3-5.6) and my FT4 was 6.5 (7.5-21.1) Now i understand why I was feeling so crap. My last result was TSH 3.33 and FT4 9.2 same ref ranges still not that good but better than it was. I'm going for a TFT in the morning and hope to have the results soon. I'm so glad I asked for the results printout as I now understand why I felt so ill, and in a strange way its made me feel more in-control of me as I know the facts. I still don't feel that good, I have started taking coQ10 and selenium and just bought a tub of serenity cream. I have learned a lesson from this: " you cant take in facts and figures when you've got your thyroid head on, always get it in writing" Cec
