Forgot to tell you all that I was dx w/Graves Disease in '03 and declined RAI,

opting for

Tapazole instead, which worked nicely. Have actually been euthyroid since July!

My question is that, after reading some of the articles here, about the Wolf

Chaikoff effect ...

could I expect 100mg/day iodine to shut down my thyroid completely?

I have had goiter ever since dx of Graves and recently have a couple of nodules

as well.
