Guest guest
Hello, New member here. I am in Hubbard, Ohio I have sent a couple of LONG E-mails with my intro and background to I believe the group owner/moderator and have given her my perrmission to forward them here to introduce myself to all of you - and NOT have to type all of it again. I have bad hands ... . Anyway, this post caught my eye. I try to watch the diets of all 5 of us in my family and we only have the rare pop or donut. I am even more strict with my 18 year-old son who has Asperger's because it REALLY effects and affects him and his behavior/mood. He has a big craving for sugar/sweets and will sneak it whenever he can. He is like me and has low blood sugar so I am trying to make him understand how important it is to eat GOOD things every few hours so his body wont be searching for a boost from bad foods. Between the fact that I am his Mom and so of course don't know anything, his cravings, his Asperger's and maybe to a certain extent the genetic connective tissue disorder that me and all 3 kids have - I'm not sure which I should concentrate on the most. He wears me out just dealing with all of his issues. Add 2 other kids, a hubby man-child, my health problems, and my busy schedule trying to make soap and run my gift shop and helping my parents and neighbors ... I am just dog tired and looking toward the door at times. I was wondering if there were a meeting like this close to us (halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Pa) OR maybe is there a newsletter I can have mailed to him to show him the importance of diet. Thanks, 's in Hubbard, Ohiohttp://www.scraft-antiqueshop.4t.com
