Landmark College is widely recognized as the premier college for students with learning disabilities and ADHD and is a long-time supporter of Attention Research Update. Landmark is offering 2 specialized programs this summer for high school students and recent high school graduates who struggle because of ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Details about these programs can be found below. ** Landmark College - Summer Programs for High School Students & Recent Graduates ** Landmark College has provided specialized higher education services for young men and women with ADHD for over 20 years and is generally regarded as the leading institution of higher learning for students with ADHD and learning disabilities. This summer, Landmark is offering several specialized programs to assist high school students, rising college students, and current college students. The High School Program is " ...designed to help rising high school juniors and seniors discover and practice academic skills and strategies that will improve their ability to learn. Working in small groups - with plenty of individual attention - students learn how to learn, efficiently and effectively. " The objectives of this program are to help participants: * Develop a writing process that uses proven techniques to write more clearly, faster and with fewer struggles. * Discover his or her academic strengths and personal learning style and learn to leverage them in all coursework. * Integrate strategies and practice in either communications or math, depending on specific needs. The program runs from 7/8-7/27 and financial aid is available. Programs are available both for students who will be attending college in the fall as well as those who are unsure of their future plans. This program encourages students to develop a lifelong appreciation of learning through experiential and practical activities.
