Guest guest
Hi Everyone-- I've just started the regimen of 6-8 drops of lugol's 3/day for 3 weeks outlined by Dr. Truss. I did two days of just 6 drops, then today I did 6 drops twice and the itching got a lot worse. I was just wondering if it is common for this to happen and if it could be die off. Also, he says to only do it for 3 weeks, but what if you cannot tolerate that much in a day, then can you stretch it out for longer?
Guest guest
, I am having exactly the same problem. I took 5 drops last Saturday, and have been scratching like a hound. I couldn't continue with the iodine. I am still scratching and waiting for the pruritus (itching) to subside before I resume at 1 drop per day. The fungus is literally coming through the skin, mostly at the extremities. As a quick fix for itching, I wet the skin and apply sodium bicarbonate. It lasts for a couple of hours, and then the itching moves to another spot. It seems that the fungus has no where to go! Incidentally, I am also alkalizing heavily when not taking the iodine. I take about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day of baking soda in water. http://chainexerciser.tripod.com > > Hi Everyone-- > > I've just started the regimen of 6-8 drops of lugol's 3/day for 3 > weeks outlined by Dr. Truss. Guest guest
OK...a couple of questions about this. I have read Dr. T's protocol.... but I am wondering about the dosage. The Lugol's I bought is 2%. Therefore, how many drops should I take? Also...I have been taking the Idoral's...one half in the morning and then a full one in the afternoon and a full/half at bedtime. Is this about the same as the Dr. T candida protocol? I haven't experienced any itching....nothing really other than a minor rash under my watch. Does this mean I don't have severe candida? am I doing the protocol properly? Has anyone on this list recovered from Candida using iodine? > > > > Hi Everyone-- > > > > I've just started the regimen of 6-8 drops of lugol's 3/day for 3 > > weeks outlined by Dr. Truss. Guest guest
6 to 8 drops 4 times daily - for three weeks......is the candida/iodine protocol. if one tablet of idoral is the equiivalent of 2drops of full-strength lugo's, then that would mean: 3 tablets of idoral 4 times times daily for three weeks? is that correct? Does that seem like a lot of iodine or should a person just jump into that protocol for candida treatment? jessica > > > > > > Hi Everyone-- > > > > > > I've just started the regimen of 6-8 drops of lugol's 3/day for 3 > > > weeks outlined by Dr. Truss.
