What good is a government that turns its back on its people?

I was talking to my wife about this. She is only a couple of

actions away from being stuck in her chair again with the world

turning to virtual hell.

I was reflecting upon the speed of the OFT response. From my

experience with the Federal Trade Commission attorney, I do not

believe for a moment that it was seriously considered.

I also believe that the members of this forum should strongly

consider uniting under a common cause to make it possible for the

other 200,000 Brits with the same problem to regain their lives.

I do believe that reading about Dr. Enig would be a great

lesson. She spent virtually all of her adult life fighting against

trans fats. She was faced with corporate and government obstruction.

Maybe we should take heart from the Viking version of heaven in that

in their heaven even the gods lost battles, but kept fighting on.

I hope that you all feel this loss as deeply has Sheila and I do.
