Guest guest
, At the bottom of each post it says Unsubscribe and the address for doing so. I'm guessing you've already tried that. A while back when I switched to a different e-mail address it took more than a few attempts to unsubscribe the old address. Guest guest
It says on the bottom of each e-mail how to be removed from the list. You just need to send an e-mail to the right address, then another confirming answer.
Guest guest
I'm noexpert but the reason that my son gets OT is because he has so many sensory issues. To put it in layman's terms the two sides of his brain don't function together it's like one mixed up. The OT helps to organize his thoughts and help the two parts of his brain " get and work together " . I used to laugh and say that he didn't need OT because I thought they just helped you to eat and dress yourself, (I used to work with stroke patients and that's what they did). But the OT has helped him organize his thoughts and work with many sounds, textures ect. that upset him. An excellant book to get is , " The Out of Sync Child " . It talks all about sensory integration issues. I hope this helps and I haven't confused you. This group is a major source of inspiration, support as well as information " . Glad you're a part of us.Gretchen

Guest guest
, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but please don't blame yourself for this. I'm not a very religious person, but I know that God is not punishing you...He has no reason to! You have been and are an excellent mommy to Tucker! I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks a few years before my oldest was born. I didn't need a D & C, so I really can't tell you what to expect with that. But I do have a shoulder for you to lean on, and if there is anything I can ever do, don't hesitate to ask! Take it easy , and give yourself plenty of time to grieve and heal. You, Ty and Tucker are in my thoughts and I'm sending you all ((((((HUGS)))))) Niki > well i'm sorry to say but i do have some bad news..after having a horrible experience with the ultrasound tech today..have not to nice words about her....the dr called me back today at about 530 pm to tell me that there is a sac that measures to about 6 weeks and there is a yolk but no fetus..she was mortified as is me and ty...now we go back next week to see if my body is gonna get rid of it or not cause me hormone levels are still going up..if not, then either i can wait to see what happens or get a d & c..i willl prolly do the d & c as then i don't have to worry when it will happen..as i said, we are in shock and so is our family as everyone knew...i can't believe this is happening and i can't help but feel 2 things..its my fault and god is punishing me for what i did to tucker (noggin) i know neither are true but as i said, i'm in shock..also, anyone who has had d*c can you please, if you don't mind, tell me a little about this..where is it done..how long does it take, does it hurt, how long are you out..etc..thanks again.. > > brenda > mom of tucker > OT > > > Hey > I am going crazy with anticipation here! Guest guest
, I think it is called a molar pregnancy or hydatidiform mole. You might look at this link... http://www.obgyn.net/women/articles/molarpreg_dah.htm I also found this... When fertilizaton occurs and there is no genetic information within the egg cell (so called "empty egg"), the resulting condition is known as a complete molar pregnancy. Rapid cell production occurs only within the cells which form the placenta and there is high production of the placental hormone human chorionic gonadoptropin (hCG). Such high levels of hCG account for the positive pregnancy test and the extreme nausea. There is also some good information on the March of Dimes website... http://www.modimes.org/HealthLibrary/334_591.htm I'm sorry you are going through this. I wish I could offer some words of advice for you, but I don't know what to say. Hang in there. We're all thinking about you and hoping for the best. Guest guest
, I'm so sorry to hear of your bad news- I hope that you can put it behind you and look forward to creating beautiful babies in the future with Ty. God is not punishing you for Tucker's noggin! Your a great mom for stepping up to the plate and getting action for your son! There are too many truly worse mothers out there that God needs to work on! Take time to grieve and keep your chin up. A big hug from my little to you! Guest guest
: Oh, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My sister had the same miscarriage as you are describing :'(. She did have a d & c done a week or 2 after she found out. It was an in-out procedure...she wasn't laid up that long at all. She was also devastated and had a very difficult time with it all. Hugs to you - also don't blame yourself or think of it as a punishment from God. Deep down, you know it was neither. Go give Tucker a big ole hug & extra cuddles today. He is your gift from God!!!!! I would ask for the d & c and pathology report to be safe. Gail <momofivftwins@...> wrote: , I think it is called a molar pregnancy or hydatidiform mole. Guest guest
, God is not punishing you!!! Please do not even think that!!!! Have faith in God for giving you your precious Tucker. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I completely understand how you feel. I was in your shoes - it will be 3 years on July 15th that I had my miscarriage and 3 years on July 16th that I had the D & E (same as D & C) done. What is happening to you is exactly what happened to me to a "T". My OB gave me the option for the D & E or to wait and pass the fetus on my own, which could have taken a few days, and more than likely I would end up at the ER anyway. I opted for the D & E, rather than try and pass the fetus by myself. I went in the hosp. the day after they told me I miscarried. Was put under, had the D & E and was back at home that afternoon. I experienced some cramping and heavy bleeding for the next day or so. I was told to stay off my feet for about a week (no steps, heavy lifting, etc.). But no other complications. I also had a D & C (6 years ago), for some abnormal (extremely heavy) bleeding and severe cramping. It was determined to be caused from hormones. I had this done as an emergency situation, because of the bleeding, in the dr's. office, with NO anesthesia. They do not normally do a D & C unless they put you under -- needless to say it was awful!! If you have to have one -- it will be scheduled and you will be put under. Take care and I will be thinking of you. AnnMarie (mom to - 17 mos.)
Guest guest
, What sad news. A close friend of mine had a D & C (she had a 8 week ultrasound which showed an abnormally large yolk sac. When she went back at 12 weeks, there was no heartbeat). She had an easy time with the surgery and recovery (a harder time with the grief). She conceived again a few months later and now has a beautiful, healthy 4 month old baby boy. This is most definitely NOT your fault!
