Guest guest
Congratulations Renate! I'm on disability for major depression too. I've had fibromyalgia for years and have arthritis now but I got approved for SSDI on the first try. It really helps when the doctors or lawyers fill out the paperwork right. I'm so happy for you and I'm sure it's a relief to get the income! Darlene -- [ ] OT I don't post often but I got great news. After 10 months, 1 denial, and hiring a lawyer, I have been approved for SS disability. I was approved more for the depression than the RA. Just in case any one needs that imformation. SS sent me to a shrink and paid for it during consideration. I just wanted to tell some good news for a change. Renate in Oklahoma

Guest guest
Congratulations Renate!!!! What a relief. I'm so glad you were approved. Just for the record, this post is NOT off topic. This is a very ON TOPIC post. It's only the posts that have nothing to do with our lives with RA that are OT, such as jokes and recipes. Thanks for sharing your great news! a > > I don't post often but I got great news. After 10 months, 1 denial, and hiring > a lawyer, I have been approved for SS disability. Guest guest
Sorry I was so slow to respond to your questions, Lynn! 1) I don't know. It seems to make sense that it would have been removed when you had surgery, but I would ask your physicians if you are wondering about it. I'm sure they simply made note of it in the first place because they had to explain the lesion and rule out cancer. 2) Arteriosclerotic heart disease is commonly called " hardening of the arteries. " It seems to be related to aging, although there are other risk factors. Again, I would ask your physicians about it. In the meantime, here is a good explanation of arteriosclerosis: http://www.chic.eur.ch/English/Vascular%20D/arteriosclerosis.htm I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the information. I have been reading more on my records and it seems that they didn't remove the lesion. I am going to talk to the doctor about it. I know I remember them telling me not to worry about when I was first in the hospital. Now I want to know why I shouldn't worry. Thank you for the site. I kind of thought that this is what it was, and that is not so bad. I just had a birthday and my kids got my a bike. So come spring I am going to give that a try. I am trying to walk and use the stationary bike as much as possible. I feel since medication isn't going to help me a lot maybe moving as much as possible will. I even signed up for a bike class at the hospital. I am graduating in May so I will have time on my hands. I was thinking of giving up my disability and trying to work but the rheumy has advised me against doing this. I have so much to think about a job or whether I should continue on with more school. What a crossroad to be at now. I hope you and the family are well. Again thank you for all the help./ Lynn Original Message: ----------------- From: Matsumura_Clan@... Guest guest
Does anyone use or has anyone used Barrie Galvin up in Beachwood? If so what are your thoughts? Thanks! Cate
Guest guest
We have been going to Barrie Galvin for many years with both of my boys. I would highly recommend them. They have a unique approach and my kids really enjoy going there. It never feels like "work" for them. They are sensory based and I think my kids really need that. I attended many night time sessions for parents and professionals (floor time, school planning, large motor skills. I also heard alot of praise from parents that had used their OT services as well. (From severe cases, to twins!) We ended up useing the CCF Childrens REHAB for eating & hypersensitivity issues (which just just now finished paying out of pocket this month!!) Hope this helps a little. Definelty 1)get on their website and get on their mailing list. 2)check out some classes 3) visit location 4)ask for referrals. Good Luck to your family. katrine822 <cate127zoominternet (DOT) net> wrote: Does anyone use or has anyone used Barrie Galvin up in Beachwood? If so what are your thoughts? Even if you don't live nearby us, please forward this email to anyone you know within a 25 mile radius of North Ridgeville. I appreciate anything you can do for us. On Wednesday, 11/5/08, our dogs, Harley and Lucy ran away again. This time, we lost Harley forever. He was hit and killed by a car. Lucy was never found. She must have run away when Harley got hit. The person who witnessed Harley's accident said that they saw another dog in the area. Now we are desperately searching for Lucy. Please read our Craigslist ad for more information and photos of Lucy. Thank you in advance. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/laf/909267167.html Love, & boys Cecchine Kathrein 440-829-1301
