Do they have Portrait Innovations in Akron/Canton? I don't know if they are specially trained to deal with special needs kids, but they do take many, many shots so you generally can get some good ones. Helped with ours.

There's a good photographer in Hudson, who has a son with special needs.

His name is Andy Jordan. I can get his phone number if you'd like it. I

don't know what he charges, but I would highly reccommend his talent.

He's great and can get smiles...

Kindred Spirits is in Ravenna, but she does go to people's homes. I

don't know if she would drive to Canton. You could ask. She has a

special needs child, and the first time we used her, she handed my

son

a social story when she first came in the door. He immediately

started following her instructions in the social story. It was so

cute! And I've already posted a few of her photos in the photo

section in this group - under " my little paws. "

Also Kindred Spirits in Ravenna is good. Ann WInters came to our house armed with a social story and DS immediately followed her instructions!
